Mr Justice Pang was at DBS from 1957-1964. He was awarded a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Queen’s University, Canada. He was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 1978, and was admitted to the Hong Kong Bar in 1979 and the Bar of the State of Victoria, Australia in 1983. Mr Justice Pang was in private practice before joining the Judiciary as Magistrate in May 1985. He was appointed District Judge in August 1987 and Judge of the High Court in January 1997.
He is the Chairman of Electoral Affairs Commission, a Panel Judge of the Interception of Communications and Surveillance Ordinance, Chairman of the Advisory Committee on Post-service Employment of Civil Servants, Advisory Committee on Post-Office Employment for Principal Officials and the Society of Rehabilitation and Crime Prevention, Hong Kong.
