We regret to inform you that old boy Stephen SK Tai, also our DBS Chemistry / Swimming teacher, passed away in Jun 2019 in Vancouver, Canada.
It is with deepest sorrow to inform you that Gilbert Wong class of ‘55, founder of DSOBA Toronto and also one of the members who restarted DSOBA Hong Kong back in 1979 after a period of long silence has passes away on June 17th 2022 due to heart failure.
A memorial service will be held on July 5th 2022.
More detail information will be followed in these coming few days.
香港著名導演羅啟銳於昨日（2日）離世，終年69歲。消息是由他的母校拔萃男書院中朋友圈得知。現任香港有線電視公共事務總監李臻也是畢業於拔萃男書院，他在個人社交網站貼上與羅導演的合照，網上亦有不少網友轉發，紛紛留言寫道十分惋惜。

It is with much sadness for us to inform you the passing of our beloved grandfather Dr. Lam Kin Ming (Class of ’55) on 8th Jan, 2021 at the Hong Kong Sanatorium Hospital. Our grandfather was an active alumni with his class.
His memorial will be held on 29th Jan at the Hong Kong Funeral Home, North Point, 4-8 pm.

We are overwhelmed by the outpouring of generosity from the DBS community. There are simply no words that can express how thankful we are for the donations of money, time, counsel and many other things that have helped us during this time. My Dad was very proud of his alma mater. As much as he was part of DBS, DBS was part of him. I was never able to fully grasp his deep connection to the school until now, however I feel blessed to finally experience why it meant so much to him. My dad is remembered for his speed, and I know that he was very proud to witness the speed at which the DBS brotherhood rallied around to help him in his hour of need.
Dad passed away peacefully while I told him stories of his life; recounting how proud both we and the broader community were of everything that he was. A father, a husband, a friend, a champion.
William Hill passed away in Hong Kong on 27-Jul-2020.
Paul Hwa Pao WANG passed away at 5 AM on 13th June 2019 at the Ruttonjee Hospital, Hong Kong.

Good afternoon,
I hope you can help me. I am the daughter of Henry Kennedy-Skipton, who graduated from DBS in 1959, and went on to Trinity College, Dublin. He was an active member of the Alumni Association, and I remember in 2004 they had a meet up in Honk Kong. I found a CD from the DBS Orchestra called Symphony No. 9 ”New World” from their time there.
Dad passed away last Friday (25-Jan-2019), and is to be buried in Scotland, where we grew up and where his father and my Mum are. She just passed away in June. I remember we visited DBS in 1989, when I was just a teenager! I really would like to contact the group to let them know of Dad’s passing.
The only other person I know from the group, who stays in contact, is Sze Wang Chang, who lives in Toronto, but unfortunately I have no email address for him.
Dad’s funeral will be on Thursday 14th February at 10.30am at St.Bride’s Church in West Kilbride, Scotland. I would be very grateful if you could send me some information on how I might make contact with the group, especially Sze Wang Chang.

I bring you sad news today. Tommy passed away Oct 1st in his sleep.
As you are the one student that I have met a few times and I know you are in contact with Tommy ‘s fellow colleagues and students at DBS, may I impose on you to extend this message to all. Thank you for visiting my brother whenever you are in Seattle. I know he looked forward to your visits.
My family and I are deeply saddened but find solace that Tommy made his exit before the worst of his illness, Parkinson set in.
