DBS Steps 2023

I write to enlist your support for our school magazine, Steps, which is an annual compilation of school events and activities. Steps is published at the end of each school year in July, consisting valuable information, records and photographs of the year’s activities, both inside and outside of school. In addition, you can receive a complimentary copy of Mini Steps of the Primary Division on request when purchasing Steps.

To make this valuable publication affordable, we have capped the price at $120 per set of magazines. This could not be achieved if not for the support we receive by means of donations and placement of advertisements, subsidizing the printing cost. Donations of any amount will be gratefully received. For advertisements, the rates are as follows:

DSOBA Car Parking Labels 2023

CAR PARKING LABELS (FOR SUNDAYS ONLY)

To : DSOBA Members

DSOBA members who wish to apply for a School Car Parking Label (Sundays only) (“Label”), please complete the return slip with a fee of HKD400 for one year (from 01 Jan to 31 Dec).

Please note the following terms:

Each DSOBA member is entitled to only ONE Label.
All Labels are entitled to ONE parking spot at School on Sundays subject to availability on a first-come, first-served basis.
All Labels are to be renewed annually by members.
All Labels are non-transferrable and application fee is non-refundable.

Please mail the return slip to Ms. Wing Tsang of the DSOBA office [Address: DSOBA, 131 Argyle Street, Mongkok, Kowloon, Hong Kong.], together with your self-addressed return & stamped envelope.

Payments can be settled by cheque or bank transfer:

Cheque – crossed and made payable to “Diocesan School Old Boys’ Association Limited”.
Bank transfer – HSBC bank account (Number is 111-170-312-001 and the name is Diocesan School Old Boys’ Association Limited) and provide the bank-in receipt.

Legal Chapter Casual Cocktails & Networking Nov-2022

Dear members of DSOBA,

November marks our 10^th anniversary as we will be celebrating a decade as the DSOBA Legal Chapter. We would like to extend a special thanks to all Chapter Members for building our Legal Chapter on such a solid foundation with over 180 registered members actively participating in different contexts and platforms but nonetheless united in our joint efforts to promote and share legal knowledge and relevant information for the betterment of all members and our school.

As we start a new decade for our Chapter, we will kick off our celebration with a Friday night mingling with our fellow brothers in the legal profession and related legal industries as well as fostering better bonding and relationship with other OBA Chapter members and some of our School’s newly appointed School Committee members. The details of the Anniversary are as follows:

The lifting of many of the COVID social-distancing restrictions presents us with the opportunity to reunite, accommodate you all, and lift our own spirits (of which we will serve many.) Reservations will still be necessary and they will be on a First-come-first-serve basis with priority seating to General Committee members, Chapter Convenors and then members from the legal chapter. The event is open to all members of DSOBA. Please note that payment must be received in advance in order to guarantee your booking. All payments are non-refundable but are transferable.
