Games Day – 21st Sept 2014

Dear Members and Friends of DSOBA,

Hope you all had a great summer and are geared up for another exciting school year. And it gets even better as the DSOBA/DBSAC (DBS Athletic Club) Games Day will be held on the 21st of September (Sunday) from 1pm to 5pm at the School Field. What’s a better way to spend a Sunday with your family and catch up with your friends and classmates.

This year’s Games Day will feature many track competition for all ages. There will be parent/child and open relays. Besides participating in the track competitions, you can also sit and relax in one of the cool shaded marquees to enjoy a sumptuous buffet BBQ lunch, featuring gourmet steaks, burgers and hotdogs. There will be plenty of prizes and awards for everyone and there is even a cotton candy booth to satisfy your children or your sweet tooth.  I sure you and your whole family will enjoy this special day.

Entry Fee :    $100/person – DSOBA Members (Including spouses and children)
                    $200/person – Friends and Non-Members

DBS 145th Anniversary Dinner

Dear Fellow Members and Old Boys,

DBS 145th Anniversary Dinner

The year 2014 marks the 145th anniversary of the Diocesan Boys’ School. In celebration of its anniversary, the School will be hosting its 145th Anniversary Dinner at the Grand Hall, Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, Wanchai on November 21, 2014 (Friday). The DBS 145th Anniversary Dinner will at the same time mark the launch of the Diocesan Boys’ School Foundation.  

On behalf of the School, we would like to invite you, together with your spouse and friends, to join us for this memorable event. Kindly reserve your seat(s)/table(s) by completing the Email Ticket Registration Form and returning it to the DSOBA Office by email with attention to Sonia Huen on or after 9am (HK Time), 20th September, 2014, to be followed by posting the completed Ticket Request Form with payment to DSOBA office. Tickets will be sold on a first-come-first-served basis. Tickets are of limited availability, so place your orders early.

The DBS 145th Anniversary Dinner is a fundraising event for the Diocesan Boys’ School Foundation Limited. You are cordially invited to support the event either through sponsoring a table and/or placing an advertisement in the Anniversary Dinner Program Booklet. Should you wish to sponsor a table, kindly complete and return the Sponsorship Form directly to the DBS Foundation Office with attention to Iris Chan (Tel: 2297-3710; email: dbsfoundation@dbs.edu.hk).  Sponsorship for tables will be opened for subscription from 8th to 17th September, 2014 and accepted on a first-come-first-served basis.
